I’ve been making these zines for a little over a year now. Here’s #4. I brought 80 copies to SPX this past weekend and gave them to my dear friends. As a bonus I hand-colored all the covers for some bizarre reason
SPX was wonderful as usual. Congratulations to the Ignatz nominees and winners! I picked up a ton of books & zines, and I’ll enjoy reading them over the next few weeks.
The first 3 Sex Fantasy zines are tagged here, so you can read them if you missed them the first time around.
Here they are, the fifty copies of Saltwater Snow that I’ll have for sale at micexpo! Just like “A Bomb”, these will go on sale online as soon as #MICE2014 is over, October 5 at 4pm. kurtankeny.com
These are 8.5 x 10 inches, nice and large. 32pp, 1st half is 4 color and second half is simulated 3 color overprint. $10.

This usually goes around every year without the credits. This is The Skeleton Dance, a Silly Symphonies short put out by Walt Disney in 1929, and animated by Ub Iwerks (co-creator of Mickey Mouse). Go watch it!
Wow. I was a huge fan of the Silly Symphonies as a child and I think this may have freaked me out a bit. But it’s a beautiful piece of animation.
In a lot of ways, I think the Internet allows animated shorts to flourish once again. They deserve it.
